Obituary of Joseph G. Lange Jr.

Joseph G. Lange, Jr., age 85, of Milford, CT formerly of Bethpage, New York, beloved husband of the late Yolanda Pizzutti Lange, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 22, 2014 with his loving family by his side. Born in Queens, New York on February 4, 1929 he was the son of the late Joseph G. Sr. and Rose Marie Meyers Lange. A U.S. Army veteran, Joseph was a self-employed distributor for Arnold Bread for 30 years. He had a strong interest in sports and aviation and these passions led to many memorable trips and vacations with his family. Survivors include two loving sons, Paul Lange and his wife Mariette of Stratford, CT and Andrew Lange and his wife Christine of Shoreham, New York, three cherished grandchildren, Nicholas, Hunter and Caroline; a sister, June Delalio and her husband Robert of Dix Hills, New York, as well as a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Friday, September 26, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Martin of Tours Church, 220 Central Ave, Bethpage, NY for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury, NY. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, CT 06611 and on Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. in the Arthur White Funeral Home, 234 Broadway, Bethpage, NY.
