Obituary of Rupert P. Wade

Rupert P. (Boysie) Wade, age 53, beloved husband of Jean Morris Wade of Bridgeport, passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Kingston, Jamaica on August 14, 1961, he was a son of Carmen Etoria Wade of Florida and the late Geoffrey Wade. Before his retirement he was a service technician at General Electric for over 29 years. In addition to his wife Jean, survivors include his four loving children, Jamar, Jazmen, J'Ron, Jovaughn, three brothers, Vincent, Lawrence, Lloyd and a granddaughter, Mylee Jade as well several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in the Cathedral of Faith Church of God, 2319 Fairfield Ave., Bridgeport. Interment will follow in Mt. Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Friday from 6-9 p.m. at the Cathedral of Faith Church of God. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to an education fund to benefit his children. Please make checks payable to Mrs. Jean Wade.
