Obituary of Barbara Anne Slossar

Barbara A. Slossar, age 68, of Trumbull, died on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Milford on July 28, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Mary Hodge Iles and Walter Deyo, and was a graduate of The University School of Bridgeport. Barbara was a member of the Red Hat Society, was an avid bowler and found great enjoyment in Caribbean Cruises. Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Joseph W. Slossar, her three sons, David Slossar of Coventry, Stephen Slossar of Huntington and Gregory Slossar of Salisbury, NH, her daughters-in-law, Cassie, Kim and Bobbi and her six beloved grandchildren, Emilie, James, Ashlyn, Hunter, Samantha and Logan. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 8, 2014 at 9:30 am in Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery, Monroe. Friends may call on Sunday from 12 - 4 pm at the funeral home.
