Obituary of Dorothy C. Bellofiore

Dorothy C. Bellofiore, age 79, of Trumbull passed away on December 7, 2014 at St. Vincent's Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael A. Bellofiore. Born in New York on October 3, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Mary Corsaro Cardinale. Alongside her husband, Dorothy was the co-owner of CT. Technical Corp where she had worked for several years before her retirement. She was a member of the St. Cecelia Church Choir and also was very proud to have sung for the Pope in Rome on two occasions. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her loving children, Paul Bellofiore, Marc Bellofiore and his wife Sharon and Michael Bellofiore, all of Trumbull, her cherished grandchildren, Jenna, Stephanie and Eric, three brothers, Joseph Cardinale, Jack Cardinale and Michael Cardinale and his wife Theresa, all of New York and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by a sister, Marie Defretis. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December11, 2014 at 10:00 am in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull and at 11:00 am in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, New Canaan. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
