Obituary of Judith Zavatsky O'Keefe

Judith Zavatsky O'Keefe, age 62, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Daniel E. O'Keefe, III, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Bridgeport on February 5, 1952, she was the daughter of Josephine Kwiatkowski Zavatsky of Bridgeport and the late John Zavatsky. Judy was a licensed pharmacy technician and had been employed by Main Street Pharmacy for many years. She will best be remembered for her deep love and care for her son and grandson. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. In addition to her mother, other survivors include her son, Daniel E. O'Keefe, IV of Bridgeport, who she loved so much, a grandson, Daniel E. O'Keefe, V, her brother, John Zavatsky and his wife Susan of Stamford, a sister-in-law, Pauline Dorey and her husband Dave of Stratford, her aunt, Dorothy Bepko of Virginia and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 11:00 a.m. in St. Andrew Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Tuesday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
