Dear Maria, Donna ,Tina, June and families-
Words alone cannot express how sad we are about the loss of your father and our uncle. I was very lucky growing up to have been able to spend so much time with him. He used to treat us all like his own children. He was a wonderful man who took care of his family and all those around him. When I think of our dads I think of this poem.
The Dash- A Poem by Linda Ellis
."... For it matters not how much we own;
The cars, the house, the cash,
What matters is how we live and love
And how we spend our dash...."
I think that Zi Jimmy spent his dash with much love, grace and honor.......
Love-
Lori and Family

Papa loved his family. He raised my mother on his own after my grandmother died; and he dedicated his life to my mom and my two aunts, Donna and Maria. He sent all three of his daughters to college and emphasized the importance of education and work.
My mom once told me that Papa would sleep on the couch, the floor, or even a chair next to her as she would study for her nursing exams. I asked, "Why?" and she told me that it was because it put her at ease--I think this speaks volumes to Papa's character! He was above all else someone who loved his daughters!
Mom, I am so sorry that you lost your best friend. His memory and his spirit are imperishable.
June, thank you for taking care of my Papa. You made him so happy and he loved you so much. Thank you for being a part of our family for the past 25 years and the years to come!
Papa shines his love on us all, and he enjoys the view from above. That said, let us continue Papa's legacy of love, generosity, and diligence.

Tina, Tom, Jackie, Emily, and June,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you as we fondly remember your Papa, Vin. He was such great company when he would stop by! He always brought Italian pastries and treats to share. Especially on holidays, we loved seeing him light up when he visited his grandkids! We miss his big voice and heart! Love, Ann, Jimmy, John, Chris, and Anthony

Papa,
You healed all of my bones when they broke, unselfishly.
You were there when i cried, through breakups, and gave me strength. You watched me make mistakes, and laughed when i was determined to do things in my own way even if you knew your way would be best for me.
You were always there for me. You put my seatbelt on,on the worst day of my life. I love you with all my heart and realize your words and Actions made me who i am and what i strive to become. tiamo papa

Tom and Tina -
Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you say goodbye to "Papa." We will always remember how he enjoyed all the children around him at the wonderful Christmas, Baptisms, First Communions, birthdays and the other special occasion parties at your home - no matter how chaotic our kids made things! It's good to look back at this time and appreciate the importance of family to all of our happiness.
Love, Barb and Steve

My grandfather was a kind man, and a generous man. Whenever I would visit him, I would always leave his home with a gift that he insisted I have. He didn't have a selfish bone in his body, and was always thinking of ways he could give something of himself to me or my sister. And he always was creating something beautiful for others to enjoy. His garden was home to the most delicious tomatoes, and the smell of savory tomato sauce was constantly wafting from his kitchen. Whatever he created, he created with love. He fed the people he loved, and he cherished their company when they would come to his table. Whenever, after a long visit, it was time for me to go home, he would always make one simple request, that my sister and I would come again. I will always love him.
