Obituary of Paul Temelsiz

Paul Temelsiz, age 59, of Stratford, loving son, brother and uncle, passed away suddenly on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at his home. Born on March 9, 1955 he was a son of Sultan Tekiroglu Temelsiz of Stratford and the late Avedis Temelsiz of Istanbul, Turkey. A veteran of the Turkish Air Force, Paul came to the United States in 1983. He earned his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Bridgeport and worked as an electronic engineer. Paul enjoyed swimming, soccer and loved the game of billiards. He could often be found playing pool with his friends. He was the true definition of a dedicated family man. He dedicated his life to caring for his mother and brother John. Paul was a kind gentle and outgoing man who put the needs of others before his own. He will truly be missed by all who knew him. In addition to his mother survivors include two brothers, John Temelsiz and Alex Temelsiz and his wife Carol all of Stratford, a sister, Anayis Tilkici of Fethiye, Turkey, nieces and nephews, who he loved dearly, Jacquelyn and Alexander Temelsiz and Aydin and Nursultan Tilkici, as well as many cousins and dear friends. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. directly in the Armenian Church of the Holy Ascension, 1460 Huntington Turnpike, Trumbull. Interment will follow in Park Cemetery, Bridgeport. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Tuesday morning at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Armenian Church of the Holy Ascension, 1460 Huntington Turnpike, Trumbull, CT 06611.
