Obituary of Alberta Pelletier

Alberta Corarito Pelletier, age 77, of Shelton, beloved wife of Roland Pelletier passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at home with her family by her side. Daughter of the late Patsy and Alice Bennett Corarito, she was born on April 28, 1937 in Bridgeport, CT. Alberta should be best remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. She retired from Vishay Vitramon in Monroe, CT where she worked for 20 years. In addition to Roland, her husband of 57 years, survivors include her children, Richard Pelletier and his wife Kathi Pelletier of Monroe, Linda Pelletier and her partner Brian Bodnar of Ansonia, and Robert Pelletier and his wife Sherri Pelletier of Marlborough, four grandchildren, Lauren, Tyler, Brianna and Joshua, sisters, Jean Abriola of Trumbull and Rose Sawicki and her husband Donald Sawicki of Arizona, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her brother Patsy Corarito Jr. and infant sister Gloria Corarito. The family would like to thank all family members and friends that provided so much love and support during this time. The family would also like to thank Linda Kale, RN along with care givers from Constellation Health Services, especially Candace Wilcoxson, RN and Corrinda Soares, RN, and Jessica McFadden, for their compassionate and loving care. Funeral services will take place on Monday, March 16, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:30 a.m. in St. Lawrence Church, 505 Shelton Avenue, Shelton, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
