Obituary of Mary Vertucci

Mary Dogali Vertucci, age 98, of Port St. Lucie, Florida and formerly of Stratford, beloved wife of the late George Vertucci, died on Saturday March 14, 2015. Born in Stratford, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Josephine Perrilli Dogali, and had worked for many years at Robert Shaw Controls of Milford. Mrs. Vertucci was dedicated to the care of her family and will be sadly missed. In addition to her husband George, she was predeceased by her son, Lawrence Vertucci, four brothers, Tony, Frank, Nicholas and James Dogali and three sisters, Theresa Dumas, Concetta Dogali and Anna Costello. Survivors include her two devoted daughters, Barbara Blomberg and her husband Guy of Port St. Lucie and Diane Creevy and her husband Joe of Milford, a brother, Patsy Dogali and his wife Ann Marie of Stratford, sister-in-law, Maria Dogali of Bridgeport, five grandchildren, Timothy Martone and his wife Sharon, Danielle Martone, Christina Creevy, Thomas Martone and Joseph Creevy and his wife LeeAnne, six great grandchildren, Nicholas, Brian, Gianna, Talia, Megan and Michaela and her dog Sassy as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Monday, March 23, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Name of Jesus Church, 1950 Barnum Ave., Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated by her nephew Rev. Michael Dogali. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Sunday from 2-6 p.m.
