Obituary of Ronald P. Rogliano

Ronald P. Rogliano, age 57, of Shelton, beloved husband of Sherry Nicholson, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 in Griffin Hospital. Born in Bronxville, NY on November 29, 1957, he was a son of Mary Granozio Rogliano of West Palm Beach, FL and the late Ronald Rogliano and was a former resident of Eastchester, NY. Ron had been employed by Northrop Grumman for several years and was a member of the Bridgeport Rifle Club and the NRA. He was an R.C. helicopter flying enthusiast, enjoyed skiing, fishing and was an avid outdoorsman. In addition to his beloved wife of 30 years, Sherry and his mother, other survivors include sisters, Karen Paranzino and her husband Joe of FL and Kathy Ciampi of Hartsdale, NY, brothers and sisters-in-law, Jeff Nicholson and his wife Theresa of Eastchester, NY, Andrew Nicholson and Keith Nicholson, both of Maryland and Abbye Carsten and her husband Bevin of Valhalla, NY as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends and his beloved cats, Smoosh and Lily. Friends can greet the family on Monday, May 11, 2015 from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. A celebration of his life will take place on Monday at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Jim Francek officiating. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
