Obituary of Lawrence Vincent Morelli

Lawrence Vincent Morelli, age 20, of Trumbull passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 31, 2015. Born in Bridgeport on October 12, 1994, he was the beloved son of Lawrence Morelli of Bridgeport and Lisa Lage Morelli of Trumbull. Lawrence had been employed by the Town of Trumbull Board of Education, where he had worked as a custodian. He was a graduate of Trumbull High School Class of 2012 and was currently attending Housatonic Community College. Lawrence was known for being a free spirit and an avid sports fanatic. He loved to play baseball, having progressed through the ranks starting at North End Little League, Babe Ruth, American Legion and then became a standout for Trumbull High. He was a loving son, brother and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. In addition to his parents, Lawrence and Lisa, survivors include his loving sister, Natasha Morelli of Queens, NY and his maternal grandmother, Irene F. Lage of Bridgeport. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends, too numerous to mention. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Joseph Sr., and Josephine Morelli and his maternal grandfather, Domingos Lage. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 5, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull and at 10:30 a.m. in St. Andrew Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In true Lawrence fashion, the family request that dress be informal and colorful, baseball jersey's are appropriate!
