Obituary of Joan C. Hall

Joan C. Micklack Hall, age 93 of Trumbull, beloved wife of the late Theodore Hall, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2013. Born on March 31, 1920 in Camden, NJ she was a daughter of the late William and Emma Micklack. Mrs. Hall was a pioneer among women and an entrepreneur. She was a great friend to all who knew her and spent countless hours doing charity work for the nuns of the Catholic Church. She and her late husband Ted spent their summers on the Jersey Shore. Survivors include a daughter, Joyce Tobin of Trumbull, a daughter-in-law, Mary Beth Hall of Bedford, NJ, seven grandchildren, Joan Bennett and her husband Kirk of Easton, Mary Tobin and her husband Danny Paige of Katonah, NY, William G. Tobin, III of Harrison, NY, Todd Hall and his wife Kim of NJ, Ann Marie Reising and her husband Val of PA, Tommy Hall and his wife Denise of Bedford, NJ, Mary Catherine Permenter and her husband Brian of Hoboken, NJ, 20 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Theodore Ted Hall, ten brothers and sisters and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will take place on Friday, May 3, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 11:00 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in Mountain Grove Pilgrimage Mausoleum, Bridgeport.
