Obituary of Paulette Lorette

Paulette Kostenko Lorette, age 64, of Stratford, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at Yale New Haven Hospital. Born in Milford on November 7, 1950, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Virginia Baker Kostenko. Paulette was a retired social worker for the State of Connecticut Department of Children's and Families, with over 20 years of dedicated service. She was a loving mother and grandmother who cared for her family deeply. She will truly be missed by all. She was predeceased by a son, Marc Carofano, a sister, Susan Zinn, a brother, Edward Norkaitis, daughter-in-law, Nicole Panuzio as well as her companion, Ernest Hayes. Survivors include her son, Jeffery Carofano of Stratford, six cherished grandchildren, Dominic, Tiffany, Raven, Megan, Marissa and Marc, a daughter-in-law, Kerry Carofano of Henryville, PA, two brothers, Joseph (Bo) Kostenko of FL and Jeff Kostenko of GA, a sister, Kathy Szyja of NC, as well as several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass celebrating her life will take place on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. directly in St. Ann Church, 501 Naugatuck Ave, Milford, CT. Interment will be private. Arrangements are in care of the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
