Obituary of E. Anne Revere Ward

E. Anne Tuzin Revere Ward, age 99, of Huntington, beloved wife of the late Francis (Frank) J. Ward passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at St. Vincent Medical Center. Born on June 12, 1916 in Lewiston, Maine, she was a daughter of the late John J. and Eugenia Barr Tuzin. She was a retired Assistant Manager for the former CT National Bank. Anne enjoyed to travel and enjoyed watching baseball with her husband Frank. But above all she was a loving mother and grandmother who loved and cherished the time spent with her family, she will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her husband Frank, she was predeceased by her first husband George W. Revere Sr., and a brother Bronislaw Tuzin and a sister Stephanie Rooney. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who dedicated herself to the love and care of her family. Survivors include her devoted children, four sons, George Jr., and his wife Janet, Charles Revere and his wife Jean, John Revere and his wife Carol and Paul Revere; a sister, Helen Stacey of Bridgeport, as well as eight cherished grandchildren, Todd Revere and his wife Carol, Susan Soldi and her husband Anthony, Amy Coyle, Charles Revere Jr. and his wife Barbara, Ronald Revere and his wife Michele, PeggyAnn Merdinger and her husband Chuck, John Revere Jr. and his wife Amy and Michele Revere, 18 adored great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her extended family, Paul Ward and his wife Gloria and Geraldine Langolis and her husband Gerald. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Benchmark Senior Living at Split Rock, Shelton for the care and respect shown to Anne during her time there and to the many friends she made, for filling her days with happiness. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 10:30 a.m. in St. Lawrence Church, 505 Shelton Ave., Shelton for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery, Fairfield. In lieu of flowers memorial contribution may be made to Benchmark Senior Living at Split Rock, One Company Fund, 708 Bridgeport Ave, Shelton, CT 06484. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m.
