Obituary of Concetta DeGirolamo

Concetta D'Aiuto DeGirolamo, age 81, of Trumbull, a retiree of Remington Products, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at Connecticut Hospice, Branford. Born in Faeto, Province of Foggia, Italy on March 27, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Ameleto and Vita Petitti D'Aiuto. Mrs. DeGirolamo had previously worked as a seamstress for Venus Lingerie and the Rose and Paul Adam Dress Shops. Concetta loved to cook and will be remembered as a loving a wife and mother. She was predeceased by her husband, Amedeo DeGirolamo, her brother, Michele D'Auito and his wife Rosaria, a sister, Rosa Petitti and her husband Michele and her brothers in law, Nicola DeGirolamo and Antonio Iorio. Survivors include her loving and devoted daughter, Angela DeGirolamo of Trumbull, a brother-in-law, Mario DeGirolamo and his wife Carmella of Milford, two sisters-in-law, Clara DeGirolamo and Maria Tucci, both of Italy, as well as several nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Funeral services will take place on Friday, October 16, 2015 at 8:30 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 9:30 a.m. in Christ the King Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery of Easton.
