Obituary of Pauline Mastroni

Pauline Mastroni, age 89, of Shelton, beloved wife of the late Joseph Mastroni, passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2015 in Apple Rehab-Shelton Lakes. Born in Bridgeport on August 7, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Salvatore and Evelyn Verdicchio Camerino. Pauline was proud to have graduated from the University of CT in 1948 with a Bachelor's Degree. She was also honored to be one of the early pioneers of women in the pharmaceutical industry at that time. She worked as a pharmacist for the Eldorado Pharmacy for over 25 years before her retirement. Above all else however, she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her family, especially cooking, entertaining or hosting parties. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include three sons, Dr. Patrick Mastroianni and his wife Linda of Milford, Lawrence Mastroni, PhD., and his wife Leta of Norman, OK and Kenneth Mastroni, Esq., and his wife Kelly of Guilford, three cherished grandchildren, Elizabeth Mastroianni, Aerospace Engineer for General Electric Co. and Daniel and Kyle Mastroni, and her sister, Frances Aucello and her husband Russell of North Haven. Family and friends may call on Sunday, November 15, 2015 from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Friends are invited to meet directly in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 81 Center Rd., Woodbridge on Monday, November 16, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in the St. Monica Mausoleum at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
