Obituary of Lorraine E. Griswold

Lorraine E. Horton Griswold, age 85, of Trumbull passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 15, 2015 at the Jewish Home for the Elderly in Fairfield. She was the beloved wife of the late Bernard H. Griswold. Born in Stamford, on December 7, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Irving and Catherine Conklin Horton. A devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, there was nothing more important to her than her family and their happiness. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her loving children, Debby Botticelli of Trumbull, Donna Orrico and her husband Aldo of Trumbull, Jonathan Griswold and his wife Dot of Wallingford, Christopher Griswold and his wife Rhonda of Bridgeport and David Griswold and his wife Nancy of Stamford, her cherished grandchildren, Danielle Pastir and her husband Matt, Nicole Holden and her husband Tom, Rebecca Orrico, Timothy Orrico and his wife Denise, Bryan and Missy Griswold, Jonathan Griswold and his wife Vivian, Cynthia Griswold and Regina Stemmle and her husband Thomas, her adored great grandchildren, Cameron and Riley Pastir, Skye, Cape and Kali Holden, Travis Marquis, Julianna and Jaliyah Griswold and Mia and Charlie Orrico. Lorraine was predeceased by her brother, Buddy Horton and her sister, Helene Fairchild. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Friends may greet the family on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
