I wanted to say that I saw the fight and determination of Carl that was mentioned by his family in his obituary first hand when I visited him and his mom patty at yale new haven hospital after Carl had suffered a leg fracture from therapy. To say the least he was pissed off and just down right angry and of course frustrated of the whole situation. Carl was tough , toughner than any person I ever met. Carl and his mom and his family were always and will continue to be an inspiration to me. Their effort and commitment to get to Stratford basketball games in different locations and in all kind of weather was truly heart felt. Carl touched everyone he met and he will live in my heart forever. I will miss seeing him at our games. Carl though you are physically not with us your spirit will live on through all that knew you. God bless to our number 1 fan and thank you and your family. I love you Carl.
