Obituary of Marie Louise Philomene Maignan

Marie Louise Philomene Maignan, age 84, wife of Edner Maignan of Bridgeport, passed away on Friday, December 18, 2015 at Bridgeport Health Care surrounded by her loving family. Born in Haiti on August 1, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Levaseur and St. Urcile Apoleon Poulard and was a resident of Bridgeport. Marie enjoyed attending Mass and was a parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Church. She found great enjoyment spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her family and all who knew her. In addition to her husband, other survivors include her three loving children, Claude Maignan and his wife Carlah of Bridgeport, Emile Maignan and his wife Monise of West Palm Beach, FL and Marie Lauture and her husband Georges of Charlotte, NC, nine grandchildren, Laurence, Philippe, Corinne, Jamie, Tyler, Christine, Christian, Carly and Sophie as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother and sisters. Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Charles Borromeo Church, 1255 East Main St., Bridgeport on Monday, December 28, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may greet the family on Sunday, December 27, 2015 from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
