Obituary of Francis Ralph Pinto

Francis Ralph Pinto, age 93, beloved husband of the late Eileen Nolan Pinto, passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at St. Joseph's Center. Born in Brooklyn, New York on March 22, 1922, he was a son of the late Francis and Anna Zoppo Pinto. A U. S. Navy veteran of World War II, he was a graduate of the U. S. Naval Academy and a former member of the Naval Academy Athletic Association. Mr. Pinto was a corporate executive with Harvey Hubbell Inc. for many years. Survivors include four children, James Pinto, Patricia Pond, Steven Pinto and his wife Terri and Robert Pinto and his wife Callie, lifelong friend and companion, Laura Rossignol of Stratford, four grandchildren, Julie, Sara, Katie and Joseph. He was pre-deceased by a son, Richard Pinto and daughter, Nancy Pinto. Friends are invited to meet directly in Christ the King Church, 4700 Madison Avenue, Trumbull on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment with military honors will follow in the Chapel Mausoleum at St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
