Obituary of Anna M. McNeiece

Anna M. McNeiece "Ne-Ne", age 92, of Trumbull, beloved wife of the late Charles G. McNeiece, Sr., passed away on Monday, January 18, 2016 at Connecticut Hospice of Branford with her loving family by her side. Born in Bridgeport on June 1, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Arcangelo and Antonia Trombetta Mastronardi. Affectionately known as Ne-Ne, her family was the center of her life. She had an overwhelming love and devotion to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Anna was deeply spiritual; she crocheted many prayer shawls that she gave to local hospitals. Survivors include her loving children, Charles G. McNeiece, Jr. and his wife Michelle of Narraganset, RI, Catherine McNeiece of Trumbull and Mark McNeiece of Milford, a brother, Michael Mastronardi of Bridgeport and his companion Mia Marks, a sister, Carmella Marchetti of Bridgeport, seven grandchildren, Charles G. McNeiece, III and his wife Kathleen, Brian McNeiece and his wife Tammy, Jason Altieri and his wife Allison, Jessica Altieri Pinter and her husband Brian, Sara Altieri, Jocelyn McNeiece and Adam McNeiece and eight great grandchildren, Emily and Shannon McNeiece, Eve and Jonas Altieri, Michael and Matthew Pinter, Aibhlinn and Michael McNeiece as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Enrico (Rex) Mastronardi and a sister, Mary Salce. Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Stephen Church, 6948 Main St., Trumbull on Friday, January 22, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
