Obituary of Mary Wilson

Mary Mongillo Wilson, age 80, of Stratford, wife of the late Joseph Wilson, passed away on Monday, June 6, 2016 in her residence surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bridgeport on November 11, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Nancy LaRocco Mongillo. Mary worked for many years as an administrator for the CT Soldiers, Sailors & Marines Fund, and was an avid fan of the UConn Ladies Basketball Team. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her sister, Judith Mongillo Browning. She is survived by her children, Kevin Wilson and his wife Connie of Stratford, Joanne Wilson of Stratford, Lori Wilson Tufaro of Jupiter Farms, FL and Debbie Martinez of Miramar, FL, her brother, Louis J. Mongillo of Stratford, seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends can greet the family on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. A prayer service will take place on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
