Obituary of Mary Ann Arlio

Mary Ann Timpanelli Arlio, age 81, beloved wife of Joseph Arlio of Trumbull, passed away on Friday, September 30, 2016 at St. Vincent Medical Center. Born and raised in Bridgeport, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Carrie Tranquillo Timpanelli and was a member of Central High School Class of 1952. Before her retirement, Mary Ann was an office manager at Bridgeport Machines and was a Trumbull resident over 52 years. She was an excellent cook and published numerous recipes in the Bridgeport Post.

In addition to her beloved husband Joseph of 60 years, survivors include a loving son, Gary Arlio and his wife Susan of Wayne, NJ, a sister, Rose Albani and her husband Frank of Monroe, two brothers, Carmine Timpanelli and his wife Marie of Fairfield and Paul Timpanelli and his wife Carol of Trumbull, two cherished grandchildren, Melissa Andersen and her husband Robert and Bryan Arlio and his wife Meredith, a sister-in-law, Joyce Arlio of Bridgeport and her brother-in-law, John Licitra of Stratford, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Carol Licitra and her sister-in-law, Cindy LaFountain.

Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private. Family and friends may call on Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
