Obituary of Marilyn E. Moretti

Marilyn E. Paternoster Moretti, age 90, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Armando Moretti, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 30 , 2016 at her home. Born on November 3, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Virginia Mazzeo Paternoster. A lifelong Bridgeport resident, Marilyn had a great sense of humor and loved to make everyone around her smile. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who dedicated herself to the care of her family. She truly enjoyed every moment with them and the love and memories of her will always continue to be in the heart of all who loved her. Survivors include her loving children, Darlene Aquilina and her husband Philip of Monroe, Michael Moretti and John Moretti and his wife Kay of Westport, a cherished grandson, Jesse Janosov and his wife Nga, a sister, Rosemary Gasper, a brother Robert Paternoster, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Lewis and Thomas Paternoster. The family would like to thank her dedicated caregiver Kornelya, for all of the professional and loving care and friendship shown to Marilyn. Funeral services will be private at Arlington National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her husband. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
