Obituary of George Alfredo Cisneros

George Alfredo Cisneros, age 71, of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 3, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born on March 18, 1945 in Otavalo, Ecuador, he was a son of the late George Alfredo Cisneros and Victoria Armas Cisneros. George had a love and passion for cooking and was a chef at Waveny Care Center, New Canaan, for 32 years. George's mere presence could light up any room He loved to make people laugh and dedicated his life to his family. He meant the world to his children and grandchildren. In years he never once missed his beloved Wednesday card game with his siblings. His infectious smile will forever be missed and his place at the card table will never be replaced. Survivors include his four loving children, Michelle Cisneros of Bridgeport, George Alfredo Cisneros III of New Haven, Christine Cisneros and Jamie Cisneros both of Trumbull, two cherished grandchildren, George Alfredo Cisneros and Daviann Milagro Cisneros. He also leaves to cherish his memory 10 brothers and sisters, numerous nieces and nephews and four beloved dogs. A Memorial Mass celebrating George's life will take place on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 10 a.m. in St. Andrew's Church, 435 Anton St., Bridgeport. There will be no calling hours.
