Obituary of Gloria F. Boland

Gloria Verrilli Boland, age 86, of Trumbull, beloved wife of the late Richard J. Boland, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 31, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bridgeport on September 26, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Carmela Verrilli. She enjoyed golfing, dancing and spending time with her family. She was a wonderful mother and her happy attitude and smile will be greatly missed. She was predeceased by a grandson, James Boland and four brothers, John, Michael, Henry and Vincent. Survivors include three loving children, Robert Boland and his wife Susan of North Kingston, RI, Lisa Boland of Trumbull/Fairfield, and Richard Boland and his wife Heather of Monroe, two cherished grandchildren, Richard and Gregory as well as several nieces, nephews and in-laws. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Nichols Village Cemetery, Trumbull. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Thursday morning from 8:30 a.m. until the time of service.
