Obituary of Henry J. Gerrity

Henry J. Gerrity, age 81, of Stratford and formerly of Bridgeport, passed away on October 30, 2016 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford. Born in Bridgeport on August 17, 1935 he was the son of the late Henry J. and Helen Flanagan Gerrity. A U. S. Army Veteran, Henry was a retired salesman for Hartley & Parker Distributors, Stratford. He enjoyed traveling and frequent visits to the track. Survivors include his son, Jamison H. Gerrity of the Philippines, his daughter, Pamela Gerrity Kadamus and her husband David of Madison, seven grandchildren, Jameson Tan Gerrity, Taylor Ryan Dolan-Ramirez and her wife Nadya, Lyndsay Gerrity Dolan, Kathryn Knote and her husband Alex, Laura Kadamus, Erin Kadamus and David Kadamus Jr. and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Melissa Ann Gerrity and a granddaughter, Aja Leigh Gerrity. All funeral services were held privately and burial took place in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
