Obituary of Louise T. Hadley

Louise Traber Hadley, age 97, of Trumbull, beloved wife of the late Raymond S. Hadley, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2016, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bridgeport on October 11, 1919, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Minnie Prentice Traber. Louise was a retired cafeteria manager for the Trumbull School System, where she loved assisting the children at Tashua School for many years. A devoted member of Long Hill United Methodist Church, she also was a member of the Eastern Star Masonic Lodge, Bridgeport, Trumbull Women's Club, VFW Auxiliary and Minister's Club of Trumbull. Survivors include two loving children, a daughter, Deborah J. Hadley of Trumbull, a son, Russell J. Hadley of Kansas City, MO, two cherished grandsons, Josiah R. Hadley of San Jose, CA and Ezekiel J. Hadley of San Francisco, CA, a sister, Ella Miller of Trumbull, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Raymond S. Hadley and her brother Frank J. Traber. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will be private in Mountain Grove Cemetery of Easton. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Wednesday (TODAY) from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
