Obituary of Elaine Lancaster

Elaine Geraci Lancaster, age 51, of Monroe, beloved wife of Randy Lancaster, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 21, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family after a courageous one year battle with brain cancer. Born in Bridgeport on August 10, 1965, she was a daughter of Ronald and Irene Zitnay Geraci of Stratford. Elaine was a graduate of the Katherine Gibbs School and Sacred Heart University. With a degree in business, Elaine had a twenty nine year long career at the Corporate Headquarters of Hubbell Incorporated with her most recent position held as administrative assistant to the Chief Financial Officer. Elaine loved her job and working at Hubbell but most of all she loved her children and family. She loved to go on family vacations and support her kid's passions including soccer and dance. Elaine always thought of others before herself, had a quick wit and a great sense of humor. A loving and devoted daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend, she will be missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents and husband Randy of 24 years, survivors include three cherished children, Ryan, Devin and Meghan Lancaster, all of Monroe, a sister, Beverly Lauren and her husband Dr. David Lauren of Huntington, her father-in-law, Miles P. Lancaster of Indiana, a brother and sisters-in-law, Rick Lancaster, Lesa Tobin, and Krista Fox as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends. She was predeceased by her mother-in-law, Jeanette Lancaster. Friends are invited to meet directly in St Jude Church, 707 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St John Cemetery, Monroe. Friends may greet the family on Friday, November 25, 2016 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
