Obituary of Lena Kuhar

Lena Scinto Kuhar, age 97, of Trumbull, beloved wife of the late John Kuhar, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at her home. Born on September 15, 1919, in Bridgeport, she was a daughter of the late Leonard Sr. and Lucia Capuano Scinto. A retired employee of General Electric, Lena was a loving and dedicated wife, sister and aunt. She enjoyed spending time with her family and will be missed by all. Survivors include a brother, Larry Scinto of Ansonia and a sister, Rosemarie Scinto of Stratford, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased 10 brothers and sisters. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at 12:30 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Entombment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Tuesday morning from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service.
