Uncle Joe was my dad Frank's brother. When my dad was sick he would call me to see how he was doing and I remember he sounded exactly like my dad. He was a special man and will be missed by many people. Good Bye Uncle Joe.

Sorry to hear about your father Joe's passing. We are unable to make it to the services but will pray for all of you. We remember the great times we had as all of our kids grew up in the neighborhood.
Love and prayers to all
Pat and Hansine D'Ambrosio
Remembering your dad with great fondness, a man who always tried to help and make us laugh as kids. One of my memories of him is being a "taxi" to so many of us during a major snowstorm, making sure we all got home safe from school when buses were not running!
Prayers and peace to you all
Doris D'Ambrosio (Pat and Hansine's daughter)

Uncle Joe was my father, Frank's, brother . They had a very special bond. He loved his musical "jam sessions" with his brothers, playing cards, and horseshoes. I was one of his "Golden Nieces", the other being Cathie De Natale Harrington. We were invited to his Roundtable, His picnics are legendary. Now he goes to be with his dear wife and family.
I will miss him dearly, Hugs and kisses, Sandie

What defines a Grandfather? A man’s man, one who gives and demands respect. A mentor who has guided his family the differences between right and wrong. A teacher of the fun things and responsibility. A confidant who will not only listen, but will confide in those whom he truly valued their opinion. A man who will always put the needs of others before his own. A tiger when it comes to protecting his family, yet has a gentle soul with a smile of true joy.
This defines my Grandfather. I am forever grateful for all the times we have had together. From the life lessons to the kicks in the butt. From always listening to valuing me enough to share your concerns. For teaching me all the fun things to showing me how to be self-sufficient. For all our breakfast dates alone and with your weekend crew. For always being there in good times and bad.
Regardless of any differences we have had over the years, you have always, and forever will hold a special place in my heart and I never took that for granted. I owe you a great deal for molding me into the man I am today. I will forever miss you, but will never forget you…
Rest in peace Pop. Give Grandma a kiss from me and cast the fishing line from above.
I love you,
JoJo

Uncle Joe Sagliano
Uncle Joe was my mother's beloved younger brother. He was so very important to her, as are (and were) all her siblings. But, Joe was different. Sometimes he was bigger than life! His capacity for love made him that way. He dearly loved and valued his family, above all. He loved people! If you were his friend, Joe loved you. He had a big and vulnerable heart. So, at times, he was gruff and tough and cantankerous to protect that big heart. He was also generous, fun loving, caring and a lovable wise guy, like his father before him. I am blessed to have called him "uncle" and sad he is gone. May Jesus welcome him before the Throne. May God give his family comfort.
