Bruce mentored me in the most pivotal years of my life. The life lessons, stories, practices, individual workouts, team dinners, road trips, daily routines, and time spent under his tutelage were an honor for me. He had a comedic way of touching any topic and could connect to people. A real old fashioned no nonsense guy with a lot of jokes and more one liners than you are ready for. Bruce loved his family. May god bless him and that of all.

I remember Bruce as a talented and dedicated UB coach and supportive Football Parent.
It wasn't til long after Keith had graduated from Masuk, that I learned of Bruce's outstanding athletic career at Rutgers. He surley knew more about playing football than I did, but he never inserted himself into our program and was always a positive fan supporting Masuk sports.
I also remember Bruce for his bright and engaging personality...along with his humor, quick wit and wonderful stories.
I would have been with you at the memorial celebration, but my Masuk Girls Track team was competing at an important invitational meet.
The seasons I spent coaching Keith and his team-mates are among the brightest of my coaching days.
My condolences to the whole family, along with my warmest regards.

So sorry about the passing of Bruce. Phil thougt so highly of him, and had a lot of laughs when they were together. Bruce was a great coach and a great mentor, and was instrumental in getting our daughter, Kristin, to decide on the University of South Carolina. He will be greatly missed.

Dear Webster family,
There are no words to express my feelings for coach. I first met him at a basketball clinic my sophomore year, came over to my mom and I and said, in 2 years u will be playing for U of B. Well he was right, and it was the best decision I ever made. Best 4 years of my life. He was not only my coach but, a mentor and father figure. He always had our backs no matter what. I learned how to be a better person and player. Even after I graduated, when I wanted to propose to my wife coach said use the sign and I will put it in the middle of campus. Little did i know he also had called the bridgeport post without me knowing and had them there waiting for me to propose. I will never forget all the great things he has done for me and my family. My deepest sympathies for your loss. I know he is up there coaching!!!

Six years behind Bruce at Mineola High School, Bruce was one of my first heroes in life. He was a role model for many of us who were striving to compete in various sports at the amazing level of success he achieved. My parents asked Bruce to drive me from Mineola to West Point on the first day of beginning Plebe year there. His support and strength that day was key to surviving that first summer. Carole joins me in extending heartfelt condolences to his entire family on this sad occasion. He was a great man and will be missed,

Sue and were saddened today to see Bruce's obituary in the CT Post. Bruce was always one the "good guys" -- fun to be around and a terrific, competitive athlete. It is with a heavy heart that we wish Bruce's family well in this terrible time of sadness. Godspeed to you, Bruce.

We were so sad to learn of Bruce's passing. We both, but especially Art, had some wonderful times with him. Coach especially remembers going out after games and everyone having a few drinks except Bruce who would meet after first going to Friendly's for milkshakes!!
We send our love to the entire family.
