I was the regional claim manager in hartford during the time Jim managed Bridgeport. Jim was a great mentor to me and so kind to a young kid who is now 70 years old. Will never forget his kindness. The best legacy to can leave is kindness to others I loved Jim just a wonderful person. God bless him and the family

Such sad news. To his precious wife & family: I loved Mr. Marino as I always had to call him for some reason. I think it was respect for what a sweet, kind, smart, generous, loving man he was. I remember vividly the last day he worked at The Hartford and I hugged him so tight (he was like a Father to me at work) and thanked him for his kindness and I cried like a baby. He told me I would alright! In the end only true love & kindness matters. Thank you God for this precious soul and for the man he was here on earth! I pray for his family that you will hold and strengthen their hearts all the days of their lives, and let them feel his love for them do the same! Rest in Peace Mr. Marino and thank you! Barb Rek~

Jan & Family, I was deeply saddened to hear of Jim's passing. Having worked with him for many of my 30 years at The Hartford, he taught me many valuable life lessons. Although he was an astute insurance professional, much of what he exemplified had nothing to do with business, but more to do with how to treat people fairly, with respect and compassion, regardless of the circumstances. I know how deeply he will be missed. He will always hold a special place in my heart. John
