Obituary of Jacqueline Kopcik

Jacqueline (Jackie) Roviello Kopcik, age 89, of Shelton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 30, 2017 at Griffin Hospital. Born on April 28, 1928 in Bridgeport, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Margaret DeGruttola Roviello. A graduate of Stratford High School, Jackie was a retired employee of the State of Connecticut, where she was a toll collector and administrator. She was also formerly employed by United Technologies Norden Systems. Jackie was a loving and devoted sister and aunt, she enjoyed time spent with her nephews and nieces and will be truly missed. Survivors include her brother, Lewis Roviello and his wife Shirley of Fairfield; special cousin, Nicholas Iannuzzi and his wife Deborah of Trumbull; nephew, Peter Timpanelli and his wife Gloria of Seymour; niece Kim Audino of Fairfield; and great nephew, Matthew Timpanelli of New York, NY. She was predeceased by her sister, Betty Jean (Babe) Timpanelli and brother-in-law, Peter Timpanelli. A Memorial Mass celebrating Jackie's life will take place on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. directly in Holy Name of Jesus Church, 1950 Barnum Ave, Stratford. Interment will follow in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to Seymour Pink Inc., P.O. Box 333, Seymour, CT 06483.
