My sincere condolences to George, Jason, Josh and their extended families. Such a huge, sudden and unexpected loss.
As the daughter of her beloved brother, Harry, I loved her immediately. She and my father had a loving relationship with a lot of light hearted joking. I recall that my father would tease Rachel about her graduating Syracuse when everyone knew that Penn State was the best. This kidding continued past my father's death. In his will, he bequeathed his beloved Penn State mug to Rachel. In kind, Rachel never let my father forget that he dropped her on her head as a baby.
I recall the anticipation of visiting with Rachel, George and the kids. There was, and is, a strong sense of family and love. In later years, despite our separation geographically, we would enjoy chatting on the phone, playing Words With Friends and, of course, an open invitation for a visit.
My forever love to my Aunt Rachel. Your memory will live on through your beloved George, Jason and Josh and you grand children.
Love,
Missy

Please accept my sincere condolences. Mrs. Yahwak was a wonderful woman. I have many fond memories of her over the years. She was always so kind to me and full of good humor. She certainly loved her boys.
While I cannot be with you in person this week, please know you are in my thoughts this week and beyond.

From the day I was born you were always a part of my life. You took care of me and held me when I was an infant. You became a role model for me as I grew older. You were more than my Aunt. You were my Aunt, my Sister and my Mother all rolled into one person.
Around 1965 you came to the home of your brother, where my father and my mother lived and where they raised me and Harris and you introduced us to George. I will never forget that day. From that day forward it was always to be not just Rachel but "Rachel and George".
George too became a role model for me and together you both made your way through life and raised a family. Your sons, my cousins, have grown to be great men both with great families of their own. You and George did a good job.
I will always love you Rachel.
