I wanted to offer my condolences to Joe’s family and friends on his passing. I worked as a contractor on many of Joe’s building sites over the last 20 + years. Joe was always wonderful to deal with and a 5 minute visit to review work might last another 30 minutes chatting about family and everything except the work at hand. Joe was a wonderful person and always had a smile and it felt like we had been friends forever. His knowledge and expertise was tremendous for when we discussed what repairs might need to be made to a building. I will keep Joe and you all in my prayers. I will miss him but I am better off from the time we spent together and know he is in a better place. Dave Grady

Joe brought so much life and knowledge to every interaction and relationship, it was a pleasure working with him and just knowing him as a friend. I learned so much from him in our time together, as I am sure anyone that worked with him did. His infectious smile and his avid enthusiasm to always learn something new are two of the things I will miss most about him. He had a story for every experience, a life time of know how and a way of building those around him up; he will be so missed… My deepest condolences go out to Joe's loving family, whom he so clearly adored and cherished.

Although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear. I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. Friendship is forever. He continues to participate in every act, though and decision we make. His love and kindness leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. I am so sorry to hear about Joe. He was a great person, and I really enjoyed seeing him around 40 Richards Ave when he still worked around the building. Very sad. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and all who knew him. He will be missed.
