Obituary of Elizabeth E. Milligan

Elizabeth Engler (Betty) Milligan, age 89, beloved wife of the late Melvin Lee Milligan II, passed away on Monday, April 23, 2018 with her family by her side. Born in Bronx, New York on May 1, 1928, she was the daughter of the late David and Beatrice Engler and was a longtime resident of Greenwich. Betty enjoyed her constant travels with her husband Mel and also the countries that they eventually lived in. Her best memories were the ones made with her family, along with her much loved horses, and smaller pets. Survivors include her five loving children, Melvin Lee Milligan III and his wife Roberta of Portland, OR, Louise Crandell of New York, NY, Meg Milligan of Auburn, AL, Mark F. Milligan and his wife Kathie of Stamford, and Mary Milligan and her husband Len Tatore of Fairfield, along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother, Robert Engler. The Milligan family would like to thank the caring and hardworking staff of The Watermark at 3030 Park and also the VITAS Healthcare team that provided comfort to Mom and all of us as well. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
