Obituary of Audrey J. Barone

Resident of Milford Audrey J. Greeley Barone, age 76, of Milford and formerly of Stratford, a retired operator for SNET with 31 years of service, passed away on Monday, April 11, 2011 at St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Port Chester, NY on June 29, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Hugh and Concetta Parazzi Greeley. She was the past president of the Eli Whitney School PTA and was a member of the Eli Whitney Bowling Team. Audrey enjoyed traveling and her many trips to the casino with her husband. Mrs. Barone was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and aunt who always had a smile on her face. She had a genuine love for life and was the happiest when she was around her family. She was pre-deceased by a sister, Jean Conroy. In addition to her husband of 57 years, Anthony G. Barone, survivors include three sons, Cliff Barone and his wife Mary Anne of Shelton, Anthony H. Barone and his wife Anne of South Lake, TX and Chris Barone and his wife Nancy of Trumbull, twelve grandchildren, Michael, John, Cliff Jr., David, Daniel, Kristen, Tony, Kelly, Stephen and his wife Jen, Andrew, Kenneth and James. After the passing of her sister, Audrey cared for and helped raise her niece Patricia Conroy of FL and her late nephew Hugh Conroy. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Friday, April 15, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
