She was a wonderful person and friend of mine, whom I shared many a beach walk and conversation with. I will miss her so very much, and cherish my beautiful memories of her. My brothers and I send our deepest sympathy to the whole family on the loss of an amazing woman who not only led your family as a strong and living matriarch but also touched so many as a true friend and wonderful neighbor. My family benefitted in many ways from your mom’s generosity, not the least of which were a wonderful friendship gor my mother but also the loving, take-charge energy when your mom organized a girl scout troop to include my sister Peggy who loved everything about your mom. The years of expanding family pictures gracing your Christmas cards is but one testament to a life well lived. Rest in peace Barbara, then have a ball with Bill and all you befriended who went before you! Carry on family following such such an exemplary role model as was Barbara!
