Obituary of Lawrence S. Pirone

Lawrence "Larry" S. Pirone, age 52, beloved husband of Joanne Cordisco Pirone of Shelton passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in the Bronx, New York on May 22, 1966, he was a son of the late Lawrence and Mary O'Leary Pirone and resided in New Rochelle, NY before moving to Shelton in 1998. Larry installed and serviced residential elevators and chairlifts for many years before his illness. He had a passion for his work and truly enjoyed helping people. He was an avid sportsman and was a diehard NY Yankees and NY Giants fan and loved going to games with his son. His greatest enjoyment and what was most important to him was to be surrounded by family and friends. He was a loving husband, father, brother and friend and will be missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his beloved wife Joanne of 17 years, survivors include a loving son, Lawrence S. Pirone and a brother, Timothy J. Pirone and his wife Amber of Oneanta, NY.

Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Patrick's Church, 851 North Ave., Bridgeport on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private. Family and friends may call on Thursday, November 1, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
