My Mom, Sally Monaco and Minnie were best friends since Grade School throughout their lives. It was a friendship and love to be admired. They are together again joining their husbands John and Bob. My sincerest condolences to the family. God bless Maureen and her family for taking such good care of Minnie for all these years.

Aunt Minnie:
For half a century now, you have been my Godmother. Holding me at Baptism, standing by my side at Confirmation, and never missing a birthday, you were more than a fixture in my life and the lives of my family - you were integral - our lives would have been less without you.
People come and go out of our lives daily. Few make such an indelible mark, and few leave such a void behind, as you have.
As Uncle Bill and Grandma welcome you into Heaven with a cup of coffee and a piece of babka, know that you have left this world better for your being in it.

Minnie, when I was a little girl, and you lived a couple of houses from us on Shelton St. on my hands and knees I would crawl up the stairs and knock. When you opened the door, I saw a beautiful, big rag doll in a chair right there in front of me. I made that trip often, because I was so enamored of that doll. All through my life, seventy-seven years, you have been an integral part of my Family - my Parents, my Children and my Grandchildren. Everybody loved "Aunt Minnie."
How many times you and Mama and I would sit around her table gabbing over coffee and cake. The memory that is most poignant to me is to see your making your way slowly, deliberately and determined at Mama's service and also at the cemetery to say your final goodbye to her. Well, Minnie, in my mind's eye I see you and Mama embracing now as you say your first hello in Heaven. Love you, Minnie. May your beautiful and immortal soul rest in the Palm of the Hand of Our Blessed Lord.

Maureen and family-Losing a parent at any age is so sad. But your mother's remarkable life was a testimony to her perseverance, courage and her love of life.
We will remember her as the strong, intelligent woman she always was.
With our heartfelt sympathy-George and Deanna Gesuero
