Obituary of Josephine Kaminski

Trumbull Resident Josephine Antoinette (Kohout) Kaminski, age 84, beloved wife of the late Bernard J. Kaminski, died on Monday, February 26, 2007 in her Trumbull home. Born in Bridgeport on November 23, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Clement S. and Mary (Dubienko) Kohout. Josephine graduated from Harding High School and Butler Business School, and worked as an executive secretary at Sikorsky Aircraft in both Bridgeport and Stratford, and at G.E. in Bridgeport and Fairfield. She had been a longtime Trumbull resident since 1952. She was continuously active in the Ladies Senior Guild at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Bridgeport for more than 50 years. While she loved her family and grandchildren, travel and sightseeing was her hobby. She will be best remembered for arranging local bus trips for friends and co-workers, traveling to countless locations on the East coast and Mid-Atlantic states. Survivors include one son, Richard B. Kaminski and his wife, Donna M. Kaminski, two grandchildren, Michael Ian Kaminski and Katherine Claire Kaminski, all of Indianapolis, IN. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Saturday, March 3, 2007 at 9:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and 10:30 a.m. in St. Michael the Archangel Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Friday from 4-8 p.m.
