My condolences to John and his family.
I meet Marie as a neighbor and then friend. We had many fun times together. Especially at Christmas time, Marie got me into collecting decorative Santa Claus , I could never keep up with hers, but we laughed about it. There were Get togethers at each other’s house and a few neighborhood gatherings with lots of laughs. We helped each other with our gardening queries, and enjoyed the garden club together. Marie helped me out during a difficult time with advice and chatting. My mum who visited me in America got to know Marie and still has a pen Marie made her with a flower on top, it sits in her conservatory , which gave us a warm smile yesterday.
RIP Marie.
