Obituary of Maria C. Marini

Maria C. Marini, age 55, of Bridgeport, passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Bridgeport on July 16, 1965, she was a daughter of Vincenzo Marini of Bridgeport and the late Fedina Marini.

Maria was a talented artist winning first place in art shows. She enjoyed traveling and visited Italy, Lourdes, France and Medjugorje. She loved listening to music and had many hobbies including cooking, shopping and doll collecting. Her captivating smile will truly be missed.

In addition to her father, survivors include a sister, Francesca Piccirillo and her husband David of Trumbull, a niece, Diana, two nephews, David and Andrew, aunts, Pasqualina Marini of Hamden, Francesca Marini of Stratford and an uncle Enrico Marini of Italy as well as many cousins. She was a loving daughter, sister and aunt and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Due to the concerns about social gatherings affecting us all at this time, the funeral and entombment will be held privately for the immediate family.
