Obituary of Hassan Tirabadi

Hassan Tirabadi was born on March 29, 1929 in Tabriz, Iran to Akbar & Maryam Tirabadi. He finished his high school in Tabriz and then got two bachelor's degrees from Tabriz university in statistics and history. After military service joined The Tabriz university (the biggest university of Azerbaijan) faculty and became the vice president of budget and planning of Tabriz university. During his tenure in university, he met his wife of life time, Aghdas Lotfi, who he shared 2 children.

Due to his intelligence, hard work and diligence, management and connections he had a profound effect on advancing and promoting the university and had the reputation of being the Master-Mind of Tabriz university.

About 25 years ago he left his home country, family and friends along with his wife following his children to a new land with different culture and language.

He is survived by his wife (Aghdas), son (Iraj) & daughter(Afsaneh), Son in-law (Behrouz Taheri), grandchildren (Rod and Tala), one brother(Saleh), three sisters (Sabere, Salehe and Ziba).

He will live in our hearts as long as we live! 

A walk-through visitation will take place on Saturday, May 8, 2021, from 9-11 a.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, CT  06611. Visitors are asked to wear masks and social distance as they walk through to pay their respects. Please exit without lingering to ensure all guests can come through the building. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
