Obituary of Victor M. Kostecki

Resident of Bridgeport Victor M. Kostecki, age 73, of Bridgeport, died on Saturday, April 14, 2007 at Yale New Haven Hospital. Born in Bridgeport on November 3, 1933, he was a son of the late Frank and Gladys Gildea Kostecki. A U.S. Army veteran, he was a retired employee of the State of Connecticut Highway Dept. Mr. Kostecki was a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus, a Lector and Eucharistic minister at St. Raphael Parish and St. Margaret Shrine of Bridgeport where he also volunteered at the St. Anthony Festival. Survivors include his beloved wife of 45 years, Shirley Traggianese Kostecki, a brother, Fred Kostecki and his wife Rose, and a sister, Teresa Cole and her husband Kurt, all of California, brothers in law, Ray Traggianese and his wife, Helen, Robert Traggianese and his wife, Rose all of Bridgeport, Anthony Traggianese of Huntington and Carmine Traggianese of Bridgeport, sisters in law, Mary Grillo of Milford, Susan Cecchini and Helene Traggianese both of Bridgeport, many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Margaret Shrine, Bridgeport on Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at 9:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull (Today) Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m.
