To the Budd Family, I was deeply saddened to hear of Mr. Budd’s passing. No words could ever express the loss you’re enduring during these difficult times. I lost my dad to cancer in 1999. I am deeply saddened by the passing of Paul and want to convey my heartfelt sympathy to his wife Armida, his children, and his extended family. I was privileged to volunteer with Paul at Bridgeport Hospital detox for five years, learning from him while he counseled patients. As Paul would say, “we had a lot of laughs, but we never lost sight of the seriousness of the task at hand.” Paul was a mentor and friend, who meant more to me than he could ever have imagined!
