Obituary of Michael M. Koundry

Resident of Bridgeport Michael Martin Koundry, age 49, of Bridgeport, died on Thursday, January 12, 2006 at Connecticut Hospice, Branford. Born in Bridgeport on August 22, 1956, he was a son of the late Harold Martin Koundry and Dorothy Hoffman Koundry and was also pre-deceased by a brother, Shawn Koundry. A self employed carpenter, he was a proud, dignified man who was always helping others. Survivors include a son, Michael Koundry of Ansonia, four brothers, Kevin Koundry of Bridgeport, Brian Koundry and his wife, Denise of Oxford, Thomas Koundry and his wife, Erika Koundry of Long Valley N.J., and Timothy Koundry of Newington, two sisters, Karen Koundry of Puerto Rico and Katherine Legan of Shelton, his fiance, Hildegarde Girard, two grandchildren, Eva and Nick Koundry and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral Services will take place on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Friends and relatives may call on Saturday morning from 8:30 a.m. until the time of service.
