Obituary of Marie F. Montanaro

Marie F. Daddona Montanaro, age 93, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Michael Montanaro, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 28, 2022. Born in Bridgeport on April 21, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Marie DeLibro Daddona.

Marie was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. She cared deeply for her family. The unconditional love she gave, and the memories created will forever live in their hearts. Marie will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her loving daughter, Amy Malanga, two cherished grandsons, Lawrence Malanga III and Michael Malanga all of Coral Springs, FL, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son-in-law, Lawrence Malanga Jr., and siblings, Joseph, Charles, Harold and Albert Daddona, Sally Bray and Connie Bubernak.

All funeral services and burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull were held privately.
