There are no words for the legacy Joe has left on his family and friends. His deep caring and wonderful smile will live on in our hearts. My condolences to all my cousins and their families.
Growing up Joey was just another member of our family. He rounded our dinner table out at nine. Kitchen table everyone together elbows touching. It was a happy time of the day, lots of conversations and always laughter. Joe and my other four brothers loved to tease their Aunt Diddie, Aunt Midge’s sister with their crazy antics!
Joe matured along with all of us and I remember fondly the day Joe married Jean. He was still living with us and a grand celebration all around. Tuxedos and girls with white muffs for their hands!
Joe lived well, loved well, laughed well and loved God well. I am grateful to know Joe. My children remember donuts every Sunday.
Comfort each other and allow God to comfort you.
In my prayers cousins,
Marilyn Turiano Renfrew

So many memories of our trips to Daytona but the one memory that still brings tears to my eyes from laughter was when we were at the diner with my father & brother and some close friends. My brother quietly played a prank on you when he let a stink bomb go at the same time you passed gas. All of a sudden the stink rose up, it was so bad that it cleared out the diner. We all laughed so hard we cried. Nobody ever fessed up that it was actually a stink bomb! You will be greatly missed, May you rest in peace Uncle Joe

To the Whole Family of Joe I send my Condolences in is passing. I worked with Joe when he worked at the Fairfield State Garage. I remember Joe as a happy go lucky guy. He was always smiling and joking around with everyone. He was Great Person to work with and to be around. Joe was telling everyone that they needed a trim . Everyone called him “ Joe the Barber “. Again I send my Sincere Condolences. May Joe R.I.P.

I don’t know where to begin. There are just so many great memories. I will never forget our flight to Daytona beach. But of course we will keep that between you, dad and me. My most treasured memory is the knock on the hotel wall to go for our early morning walks on the beach. Along with our long talks and laughter. You will be greatly missed Uncle Joe. May you Rest In Peace.

A great memory of Uncle Joe and Brother Ted of course was in Daytona…. They had gone to the race and we decided to reconstruct their room to look like a robbery had taken place …. No one ever fessed up to sitting on a seat covered with Vaseline … or turning on shower only to get sprayed before getting in …. But Uncle Joe was so proud that the robber put his size 13 shoe on top of a lamp over his bed …may he Rest In Peace … and shared memories bring comfort to the family .

My condolences to my cousin Joey's family, he was more like a brother than a cousin, Joey moved into our home on Terry place when I was about 10 years old, and we never had a bad word in all the years we were together he loved my mom and dad like they were his own parents. Joey was a good guy he helped mom and dad around the house as much as he could. He was a regular visitor after he married, you could count on Joey being there on Sunday morning after church with the newspaper and something from the bakery. After dad passed a way, he was a great help to his aunt Midge he would do anything for her. He was true church goer hardly ever missed church he really loved the Lord Joey is in a better place now.
